When users sign up for an MLS, they are opted in to receive email from realtor.com.
The problem:
Unsubscribes because users didn't know why they were receiving marketing emails from realtor.com
Solution:
A welcome email to set expectations.
When News Corp acquired realtor.com® earlier this year, realtor.com was looking to revamp their campaign programs.
realtor.com needed a framework which would they could leverage for existing campaigns, yet be flexible enough to accomodate future initiatives.
We designed and developed this modular framework.
Note: During the time of adopting this framework, realtor.com was transitioning their branding; Hence the logo and button updates.
This was an existing campaign which we refreshed with a new template.
Because the data for this campaign is dynamically populated, It was important to make sure that the layout didn't break with the inserted content.
From the previous version, we greatly increased photo size which had a huge impact on engagement.
Role process & workflow
For this template, client needed visual comps created before send approval. Designers would manually enter in copy and images into a PSD for both desktop and mobile.
I streamlined this process by having client submit copy deck via an excel/csv file format. Then I updated the PSD master to use smart objects and text-variables. This drastically reduced production time.
