The Kinetic Module which we did for Forever 21's Insiders Email represents the very first time this game-changing code was used in the U.S.
The code allows for interactive slide-show capability inside an email with a fully functional fallback.
The code which was developed by our UK Team was first used by a B&Q email which received mention on The Email Design Podcast as #1 FAVORITE email of 2014.
Fallback for clients where this progressive code is not supported (such as gmail) is shown in the last image. Panels are simply stacked into 2 columns.
Our goal with the modular framework was to add efficiencies to Forever 21's campaign build process and also open up options for more dynamic and personalized sends.
The framework would take advantage of Forever 21's existing asset library, while also introducing HTML-text modules to add further flexibilty and modularity.
We also talked to Forever 21 about how these modules could be leveraged in order to collect customer data to enhance customer profiles and add guidance to segmentation.
